Eti Ben Simon
Welcome to my website!
I am a neuroscientist and a sleep researcher in the Center for Human Sleep Science in Berkeley. What (literally) keeps me up at night is to discover why we sleep.
My research examines the impact of sleep or lack of it, on the human brain and body by using EEG, functional MRI and physiological data.
In recent work I focused on how emotional and social behavior change in the face of sleep loss, as well as the benefits of nightly sleep in restoring these functions to achieve emotional health.
You can read more about my work in the tabs above and in my blog, Sleep Talking.
In the meantime I wish you all restful and rejuvenating sleep!
